Stone Therapy is an ancient healing art that has recently been rediscovered. Since 1994 it has become the most influential and demanded treatment in the SPA industry in North America and Europe.

Stone Therapy uses hot and cold stones in combination with varying forms of bodywork. It also involves the application of thermotherapy, the deep penetrating heat from smooth basalt stones and alternating cold from marble stones, used as an extension of therapist’s hands, while she/he uses relaxing strokes of Swedish massage.

Stone Therapy goes beyond the physical experience of typical massage, and enters deeper dimensions of relaxation, health and well being, creating a positive approach to the ‘Body-Mind-Spirit’ philosophy. It produces alternative sedative and re-energizing responses in the body.

This is a unique ‘vascular gymnastics’ of the circulatory system. It improves the work of the lymphatic and immune systems and normalizes body functions. It also affects the sensory system, which stimulates production of neuro-chemicals affecting the sense of well-being.

This is a 3-day instructional, hands-on course.

Those who would like to receive a Certificate will have to perform a minimum 15 (fifteen) practicums of Basic Stone Therapy treatments within 3 - 4 weeks after the course.

This course is offered in a 3-day format with a final test on 3rd day of the course. Students have to complete 15 independent case studies within three weeks after the last day of class.

This course is also offered in a 2-day format, 15 independent case studies within 3 weeks and a final test within 3 weeks after the course.
